The holiday season is just around the corner so now is the best time to start thinking about gifts and to find the best Christmas presents for Bullet Journal lovers!

I must start by saying that I really love Christmas – all the bright lights, Christmas decorations everywhere, catchy Christmas songs playing all day – I love it all. And I especially love Christmas presents – both giving and receiving.

I really do my best to try the perfect gifts for my loved ones. It makes me happy when I surprise someone by giving them exactly what they wanted or needed. And it’s not actually about the gifts but more about the thoughtfulness – you listened and remembered what someone likes, you took the time to find and buy the perfect gift. That effort is worth more than any gift!

But! We all still love receiving great gifts and I am here to help you find the perfect gift for the Bullet Journal lover in your life. So let’s begin!

1. Leuchttrum1917 Bullet Journal notebook

Everyone who keeps a Bullet Journal would be happy to have an official Bullet Journal notebook by Leuchttrum1917 – just pick a color and that’s it. Although any notebook with dotted pages works great with the system. If Leuchttrum1917 is not your cup of tea, you can check other options on this link.

2. Sakura Pigma Micron pens

These pens have become an unofficial writing tool for all journal lovers. They are easy to use, they came in a variety of sizes and are good for both writing and drawing. You can’t miss with this choice.

3. Tombow Dual Brush pens

Everybody needs a bit of color in their life and the easiest way is to add some in your planner. Tombow dual brush pens are ideal for brush lettering, making illustrations and adding a bit of color to your Bullet Journal.

4. Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens

Well, everybody needs a set of quality black brush pens as well. That’s where Tombow Fudenosuke comes in. They are my favorite brush pens! You won’t break the bank but you will get a durable, quality brush pen ideal for beginners (and everybody else).

5. Lamy Safari fountain pen

There are a lot of people who simply love writing with a fountain pen – including me. and there are million different fountain pens to choose from so it’s kind of hard to pick the right one. Well, an ideal choice for a beginner would be a Lamy Safari fountain pen. It’s one of the bestselling fountain pens in the world, which is not surprising since it’s affordable and has great quality.

6. Stencils

One of the advantages of a Bullet Journal over a regular planner is that Bullet Journal can be modified to your needs and desires. And using stencils for drawing templates can really help ease things up. I still don’t have them but I am planning on buying this 20pcs set from Amazon and would definitely recommend it as a gift.

7. Binder clips

One thing that a lot of people use and like are binder clips. They are really a useful tool for keeping those pages open when your notebook doesn’t lay flat open. They are useful and practical but they can also be super cute.

8. Zebra mildliner

Zebra mildliner highlighters are also a fan favorite item. Yes, they are mostly used as a highlighter because of their soft color that doesn’t overwhelm the pages but can be used to add a bit of color to your Bullet Journal with drawings or doodles.

9. Monami Plus 3000 pens

I recently discovered these pens and can’t wait to buy them for myself. They are water-based, have fine points and come in a variety of colors. They have a soft writing feeling, and with the thin tip, they are suitable for both writing and drawing.

10. Washi tape

Washi tape is a staple item in every journal toolkit. It is one of the most versatile tools there is and comes in many sizes and myriad of different patterns. I really like these from Amazon that have days, months, dates. I think these would be a great gift for anyone who loves his Bullet Journal.

11. Pen holder/organizer

With all the different pens, brush pens, fine liners, highlighters and fountain pens I recommended, one needs to have a place to hold it all in. Pen holders are a great solution to the problem of a lot of pens without a designated space, and they also come in many sizes and patterns so it’s up to you to choose what style would suit your loved one the best.

12. Pencil case

Pen holders and desk organizers are great to have your pens all in one place at home, but everybody needs something to use when they’re on the go – a good pencil case to take your favorite pens wherever you go. I use these telescopic pencil cases because they have a double use – I use them as pen holders at home and then just zip it up and take with me wherever I go. It’s quite convenient and there are super cute options, too!

13. The Bullet Journal Method: Track the Past, Order the Present, Design the Future

A perfect gift for any Bullet Journal lover would also be this book by the founder of Bullet Journal system, Ryder Carroll himself. The description of the book states: “Carroll wrote this book for frustrated list-makers, overwhelmed multitaskers, and creatives who need some structure. Whether you’ve used a Bullet Journal for years or have never seen one before, The Bullet Journal Method will help you go from passenger to pilot of your own life.”

14. Bullet Journal kit

If in the end, you can’t decide which of the first 13 things from this list you’d like to buy, there’s always another option: buy the whole starter kit. For example, this kit I found on Amazon has a dotted journal, fine liner colored pens, stencils and washi tape included in it. I believe it’s a great set for anyone who loves journaling and would make an awesome gift these holidays.
